Course information, prerequisites and timetable · Getting help

Learn to choose what an unfamiliar situation needs: a better observation, an informative test, a reliable source or an agreement. The final team operation at Meridian Station combines the relevant methods; it does not require every weekly exercise to be repeated.

  1. Prepare for class.

Read the weekly briefing, learning objectives and preparation list. Inspect the supplied rules and alternate worked example before undertaking your own task.

    Read the first briefing →
  2. Attend the practical class.

In-person study is preferred: work with the facilitator, models and supplied records. If you cannot attend, complete the equivalent online lab. Start with guided practice, then choose your own tests under changed conditions. Keep the activity’s investigation, experiment or agreement record and explain its limits.

  3. Combine the skills.

A1 joins Weeks 1–4 in an individual workshop. A2 joins Weeks 5–8 in a paired relay. The final project brings the whole team and semester together.

Your record: keep your campus station sheets or online activity records. The skills passport stores online attempts in this browser; export a backup to keep them. Completing a simulation supplies evidence for your explanation; it does not automatically award a mark or submit coursework.
