Week 3 Dailies: The Line-up

Dailies for the week's five-tier prompt-grammar exercise.

10 March 2027

Bring all five keyframes in ladder order and the log behind each one — the tiers get pinned up side by side, not screened one after the other, because the point of this week is what changes between them, not any single frame on its own. The room reads the line-up left to right: where does adding the four-part grammar actually change the shot, where does the tag vocabulary and negative prompt earn its place, where does the top tier’s shot size and colour script pay off versus the one before it. A tier that looks identical to the one before it is a real finding, not a shrug — say which grammar element failed to do anything and why.

What gets screened

Five keyframes, pinned up together rather than played one after another, and read left to right. The scale is the grammar: each rung adds exactly one kind of instruction, and the only question asked of it is what that addition bought.

The rungs, in the order they screen:

What usually goes wrong here is a rung that added words and changed nothing — and its harder twin, a change nobody in the room can pin to one element.

You leave with one instruction you can stop writing, and one you cannot.

The rungs above are not a description. The rig recorded them once, and that recording is the scale: replay the five keyframes this Dailies is measured against.
