Labs
The two virtual instruments the Laboratory Portfolio is built from.
Two instruments run entirely in the browser, each built from the models a module already introduced. Both feed directly into the Laboratory Portfolio (worth 25% of the course), which asks you to use each one and report what you found rather than describe it in the abstract.

Virtual Rheometer
Fit Newtonian, power-law and Herschel-Bulkley models to a specimen's flow curve and read the residual plot. Builds on Module 2 and is used directly in Module 10.
Instrument 02 · state diagramCrispness Phase Diagram
Place a specimen at a storage humidity, run moisture uptake forward in time, and read its stability margin off a temperature-moisture state diagram. Builds on Module 9 and Module 11, and is the centrepiece of the lecture Crispness Is a Metastable State.
