Week 6 Dailies: Panel by Panel

Dailies for the week's image-to-video ladder, checked frame against keyframe.

31 March 2027

Bring all five clips in ladder order, their source keyframes, and your one-line drift note for each. Every clip plays through once at speed first, the way a viewer would see it, then again stepped through frame by frame against its own keyframe — a clip that reads fine at speed can still be losing the face or the prop the moment it’s checked panel by panel. Notes separate two questions per tier: did motion happen at all, and did identity survive the motion that happened. A tier that adds a motion prompt or a last frame and drifts worse than the tier before it is a real finding — name which one, sketch, flat colour, or the added control, actually caused it.

What gets screened

Five clips, each beside the frame it started from. The scale is how much of the look the first frame is carrying and how much is being asked of the words.

The rungs, in the order they screen:

The failure shape is a clip that moves convincingly and comes back with a different person in it.

The anchor your own shot actually needed is rarely the one you assumed at the top of the ladder.

The rungs above are not a description. The rig recorded them once, and that recording is the scale: replay the five clips this Dailies is measured against.
