A6
The five-tier keyframe-to-motion ladder, submitted as five clips with a note on where identity held or drifted.
Week 6 · Due 2 April 2027 · 3%
A keyframe that can’t survive its own motion isn’t a keyframe yet.
What to do#
Take one subject through the five-tier ladder from this week’s exercise — sketch, flat keyframe, finished keyframe with lighting, finished keyframe with a four-sentence motion prompt, and finally either a first-and-last-frame pass or a reference-set-backed pass — ending on whichever top tier the subject’s motion actually needs.
What to submit#
All five clips in ladder order, the source keyframe for each, a seed and parameter log covering every tier, and a one-line note on where identity held steady and where it drifted, tier by tier.
How it’s assessed#
Identity control is weighted highest: it checks whether the subject recognisably survives its own motion at the top tier, not just at the still keyframe underneath it. Motion-prompt precision checks whether the four-sentence motion prompt is asking for a specific, calm change per second rather than a vague one. Log quality checks that the log reproduces any single tier’s clip without further explanation.
How it is marked
| Criterion | Weight |
|---|---|
| Identity control | 40% |
| Motion-prompt precision | 35% |
