The MP3Blast Webring

Back before search engines got good, this is how you found new sites --- somebody you already trusted linked to somebody else they trusted, and you clicked through a little strip of banners until you found something worth bookmarking. We've kept ours going, even if half these sites probably don't exist anymore.

Sites in the ring

Six affiliate sites, badge-swapped the old-fashioned way. These are fictional --- this whole page is a piece of nostalgia, not a real link exchange --- but this is exactly the shape the real ones took.

Want to swap banners?

If you run a site in the same spirit --- MP3s, Winamp skins, burned CDs, that whole scene --- leave your details in the guestbook and we'll add you to the next ring update. All we ask is you link back to us the same way.

A short history of the webring

Webrings were how independent sites banded together before social platforms swallowed everything. Each site linked to the next and previous site in the ring, so clicking through in order eventually brought you back where you started --- a loop of shared taste instead of an algorithm deciding what you'd like.
