Every piece of graded work in the course, what it is worth, and when it is due.

Four pieces of work, each building on the one before: a pitch, a full investigation architecture, a report on an actual playtest, and the finished, revised scenario. See Policies for late work, extensions, and how the Assessment 3 playtest requirement works if you don’t already have a group.

Scenario Pitch

A one-to-two page pitch stating your premise, antagonist, truth, and the horror and player experience you intend.

Due 12 March 2027 · Weight: 15%

Investigation Architecture

The full skeleton of your scenario — locations, clue web, puzzles, checks and NPC roster — before any prose gets polished.

Due 23 April 2027 · Weight: 25%

Playtest Report

A short report on an actual playtest of your draft — what broke, what surprised you, and what you're changing because of it.

Due 7 May 2027 · Weight: 20%

Final Scenario

The complete, playtest-revised scenario packet — runnable by a Keeper who wasn't in the room for any of the studios.

Due 21 May 2027 · Weight: 40%
