Week 12 Session: The final showcase
Presenting the Final Project one-pager for peer review, submitting Death Notes, and the semester's closing address
17 May 2027
Before the session#
Bring a presentable draft of your Final Project one-pager and your completed Death Notes portfolio, ready to submit.
In the session#
Each student presents their opening level in a few minutes: the map sketch, the two item descriptions, the boss’s transition, and the opening guidance script. Peer review focuses on coherence across the four parts — does the boss’s transition make sense given the item descriptions, does the opening script’s guidance style match the map’s own shortcut logic — rather than critiquing any one part in isolation.
The session closes with the semester’s address: not a content recap, but a statement of what should keep operating in a student’s judgment once the scaffolding of weekly lectures and spec checks is gone.
Afterwards#
Submit the Final Project by its absolute deadline of 2027-05-28 if you need the extra time past this session to finish the artefact itself — presenting a draft here and refining it afterward is expected.
The spec
What you bring to the session. Written so a reader can tell whether it has been met without asking you.
- your peer-review notes on another student's one-pager name whether its four parts argue the same thing about the level, not just whether each part individually works
