Idris came to this course from narrative design — writing item descriptions and NPC dialogue for a living has a way of making “what does the player believe happened here” the only question that matters. He marks the weekly Death Notes and runs the combat, economy and narrative weeks, on the theory that the same restraint that makes a boss’s telegraph fair also makes a good item description withhold the right amount.

Ask during any session — he’s in the room for every workshop, not just the ones he lectures — or email when a question about a specific submission can’t wait until the next one.
