After this lesson

  • Follow the appropriate official cancellation route.
  • Check the result for the intended plan without assuming that other plans also ended.

Case scope. Plans bought directly from Adobe; third-party purchases use that provider's process. Consult the live guide for current labels.

Case file: two plans, one intention

The fictional worksheet contains a design plan and a separate stock-image plan. The customer wants to end the design plan only. Identify it before you choose an action.

Adobe’s current help guide routes direct purchasers through account plan management, a review of cancellation details and a final confirmation. It asks users to check their confirmation email or account status. Separate active plans need separate attention.

Follow the direct-purchase route

  1. Sign in, locate the intended plan and open Manage plan.
  2. Choose Cancel your plan and read the displayed details.
  3. Continue through the reason and review stages, then give the final confirmation if you wish to proceed.
  4. Check the confirmation email or account record for that plan.

If payment processing prevents cancellation, consult the current Adobe help branch. App-store purchases use their own provider’s route.

Read before confirming

In the practice sequence, locate the named plan, the proposed end date and any stated charge. At the final decision, explain what the customer is agreeing to. A support guide tells you where to look; the customer’s particular plan supplies the relevant details.

A message saying that a request is processing is not yet the completion record. If the practice screen reports a failure, keep it in the unresolved column and state the next check.

Leave a useful record

Complete five fields: plan, request time, confirmation evidence, renewal outcome and access-end date. Then check the second plan. In this scenario it should still be active, because the customer did not ask you to end it.

Use this exercise to make the verification section of your field guide more precise.
