THE RESOURCE DESK
Keep the receipts.
A small collection of useful evidence: fictional practice records, reusable worksheets and the original platform guidance.
01 / YOUR PRACTICE PACK
Real skills. Fictional accounts.
These records are written for this course. Account aliases, amounts and outcomes are simulated. The reference date for the pack is 20 September 2026; apply the printed practice terms rather than guessing from today's date.
02 / WORKSHOP DOSSIERS
Read what happened.
D01 / WEEKS 7 & 10Two plans. One request.
Design plan: cancel requested. Stock plan: keep active. At 09:14 the design-plan request times out. At 09:18 the account returns confirmation C-204: design renewal off, paid access until 8 October. The stock plan remains active.
A 9 October invoice names the stock plan. It does not, on its own, show that the design-plan cancellation failed.
N01 / WEEK 8The partner is the biller.
The fictional Screen Club membership says “Billed through Campus Connect”. Campus Connect's supplied practice terms allow removal of the video add-on in its bundle settings; other bundle services remain active. Access to the removed add-on lasts until 31 October.
Use this record to practise the partner branch of the Netflix reading. Campus Connect is fictional.
O01 / WEEK 9Before you accept the offer.
Option A: pause until 8 November, then resume at 12 per month. Option B: 6 per month for two months, then 12, with a new six-month commitment. Option C: cancel renewal and retain already-paid access to 8 October.
Compare for two goals: “I no longer use it” and “I still need it but want a lower cost”. All amounts are practice units.
S01 / WEEK 11The unresolved attempt.
Focus Paper, Google Play, SOUTH. Request made 6 October at 18:40; a processing message is captured as E-01. No confirmation is supplied. Next scheduled renewal is 8 October. The goal is to establish whether renewal has actually been turned off.
Your message must ask for the missing outcome, not announce one.
F01 / FINAL PRACTICALWeekend Reader.
Receipt F-01: Weekend Reader, billed by Apple to NORTH, A$9 per month, next renewal 3 November. The device is signed into SOUTH. The customer wants to prevent the next renewal and keep already-paid access.
E-02 is a failed attempt from SOUTH. E-03 is a later account record from NORTH: renewal off, paid access ending 3 November, confirmation WR-711. A separate newspaper plan remains active. Explain the appropriate route and which evidence supports the final conclusion.
A REUSABLE METHODBefore / during / after.
Before: name the goal, biller, purchasing account and commitment.
During: read the applicable terms and the effect of each choice.
After: record the result, dates and supporting evidence. Label anything unresolved.

The source register.
Official instructions support the platform cases. Historical research supports the analysis. A source check means the linked public page was read on that date; it does not imply that a live account transaction was tested.
