Hallway Showcase
Crossing 3's report-back — the session where each team takes the floor in turn and presents its stall to a fuller room than the usual weekly circle
The stalls have come down and the teams are back in one room. Week 6 runs as a series of team presentations rather than the usual circle of individual reports, each team taking the floor in turn.
In the room#
A bigger audience than the usual weekly Crossing, and one slot per team rather than one per student. Your team presents together — all of you at the front, one account between you — and then takes questions. The rest of the session you’re in the audience for the other teams.
What has to be in that presentation, and how it’s marked, is on Midsemester Checkpoint.
What gets asked#
Harder questions than a normal week’s, and aimed at the team rather than at any one of you: why you scaled it the way you did, what you’d have done with another week, what you’d set up differently tomorrow. Answer them together — “that was someone else’s part” isn’t an answer here.
Crossing 3 still earns its own participation mark like every Crossing, on what you did at the stall and what you say about it — Crossing Participation covers that. The Showcase sits on top, and carries the Checkpoint’s separate weight.
The spec
What you bring to the session. Written so a reader can tell whether it has been met without asking you.
- the team presents together in its Showcase slot, once, rather than five separate takes
- every teammate is in the room for it
- the team takes questions on the stall as a whole, not on who did which part of it
