Make a video accessible and intentional by using captions, sound choices and platform formats responsibly.
19 April 2027
Saved only in this browser. It is not a grade or submission record.
Before the session
Bring a 30-second test sequence from the final project and its current caption draft.
In the session
We check caption timing, compare music against ambient sound and discuss how aspect ratio, duration and publication context change an audience’s reading.
Afterwards
Make a final-project shoot schedule and confirm all needed permissions.
Further practice
- W3C: captions, transcripts and audio description sets out the different forms of access support for video and when each matters.
- Adobe: video encoding settings explains the delivery choices that affect a final platform export.
Reference viewing
