Week 8 Studio: Redesign crit
A crit session for redesign proposals, held on the day they're due

Before the session#
Bring a near-final draft of your redesign proposal — drawings included. This crit is the last check before it’s marked, not a first look.
In the session#
Both Petra and Callum sit the panel this week: access and trust, the two lenses the proposal has to hold at once, each get a voice. Presentations are short and deliberately interrupted — a real crit, not a rehearsed pitch — because a proposal that only survives an uninterrupted run-through hasn’t been tested yet.
Afterwards#
The redesign proposal is submitted by the end of this session, worth 25% of the course.
The spec
What you bring to the session. Written so a reader can tell whether it has been met without asking you.
- you present your redesign to the room in under three minutes, door and fix both
- you can answer whether a stranger could build roughly what you mean from your drawings alone
- you name the one part of your proposal you're least sure about, before anyone asks
