A8

The four-tier reference ladder, audited item by item against one two-shot scene.

Week 8 · Due 30 April 2027 · 3%

An audit is a list of items, not a feeling about a shot.

What to do

Build all four reference-set tiers from this week’s exercise, ending on a full set with a scene master plate, then generate the same two-shot scene against each tier and audit both shots item by item — face, costume, key props, location — rather than judging the pair as a whole.

What to submit

The four reference sets, the resulting two-shot scene for each tier, and the audit notes: a pass or fail per item, per shot, per tier.

How it’s assessed

Audit rigor checks whether the notes are actually itemised — face, costume, props, location — rather than one verdict standing in for all of them. Reference completeness checks that the top tier’s set actually covers a full costume range and a scene master plate, not just a face. Continuity result checks whether the top tier’s audit shows fewer failures than the lower tiers, which is the whole point of building the set out that far.
