Stopwatch or phone, and does it matter

The phone is easier to hold and the stopwatch does not buzz. Is one of them going to wreck my numbers?

I have a real stopwatch from the sports shed and a phone. The stopwatch is awkward and the phone keeps locking.

Is there a reason the course keeps saying stopwatch, or is it just shorthand for anything that measures seconds?

    Phone, but turn everything off first. I lost eleven minutes of week 1 to a notification that took the screen.

    Either. What matters is that you can start it without looking at it, because the moment you look down is the moment two people join the back. Practise until your thumb knows where the button is.
