8 March 2027 · Drop-in clinic
Time: Monday 8 March 2027, 15:00–16:00 AET · online.
Drop-in clinics are not additional lectures or graded checkpoints. They are evidence-led troubleshooting sessions. Students may attend for any portion of the hour. Staff can help interpret a failure or assess whether a comparison is controlled, but they do not select an assessed method or write a report conclusion for a student.
Bring one item#
Both parameter preflight reports; a token/runtime estimate; a train/validation curve; a gradient or memory trace; or a concrete failed run.
Clinic sequence#
A two-minute problem statement; evidence screen-share; identify whether the fault is data, target, architecture, optimisation, runtime, or evaluation; agree on the smallest next check.
Expected outcome#
A written decision to continue, revise one factor, or stop, with a reason and maximum additional spend.
After the session#
De-identified common-issue notes are posted; there is no model solution.
The spec
