Week 12 Care Lab: Recovery Lab / Capstone Clinic

The final Care Lab opportunity — a recovery case exercise for anyone who needs it, and an open Know Your Cat capstone clinic for everyone else

26 May 2027

No separate weekly task

This is the last of the eleven Care Lab opportunities, and it does not assume you attended this week’s lecture first — the same scheduling rule used throughout the course. It serves two different purposes, and you come prepared for whichever one applies to you:

  1. If you need to recover a missing or low Care Lab result, you complete an equivalent case exercise here, in full, to replace it.
  2. If your other ten results already satisfy you, this session is an open Know Your Cat capstone clinic instead — bring your final care model, your documented failure and its repair, and your Week-1-to-Week-12 reflection.

Most people in the room will be doing the second thing. Both are legitimate uses of the same session.

In the Care Lab

Recovery cases work through their equivalent exercise individually or in a small group, with your tutor available for the same kind of feedback an ordinary week’s Care Lab would give. Everyone else uses the time as a clinic: walk a partner or your group through your care model’s current state, the failure you diagnosed and repaired, and the reflection you are drafting on what you now know about your human cat that you did not in Week 1. Ask each other the hard question directly — where does this account still not know what it is claiming to know?

Afterwards

Know Your Cat is due Fri 28 May 2027, 12:00. Whatever you leave this session with unresolved is the actual list of what still needs attention before then — not a formality, the real remaining work.
