Guestbook
A proper 1998 guestbook had a form bolted onto the back of it — a CGI script somewhere on a shared host, quietly appending your message to a text file. This hut has no server and no script, so there's no live form here to sign; think of this page instead as the book itself, left open on the lectern with whoever already stopped by.
"Found this via a link from a link from a link. The dew one got me. Staying a while."
— moondust_traveller, from somewhere with dial-up"Didn't know Tang Yin failed an exam before he became Tang Yin. Feels relevant to my week."
— westcoast_wanderer98"Webring of one is still a webring. Signing up as member #002 in spirit."
— null_pointer_exception"No cookies, no scripts, no tracking pixel. Genuinely can't remember the last time."
— archive_of_our_tabsIf this were a live book, your name would go here next. Since it isn't, the honest way to leave word is the old way that still works everywhere: find the person who built this hut and tell them in person that you stopped by.
