Reggie's guestbook

Please read this first. The guestbook script that used to run on this page stopped working in June and I have not been able to fix it. There is no form here any more. If you would like to be added, please write to the address at the bottom of the page and I will type your message in myself, which is how every entry below got here.

I am sorry about this. I did try. My nephew looked at it in August and said the words “CGI” and “permissions” several times and then had to go home.

There are fourteen entries altogether. These are the eight I have typed up so far, most recent first. I am working through the rest.

  • I found this page through the webring and I have now read all of it twice. The part about him relocating to the room of whoever is unwell made me put my hand over my mouth. My Tabitha did exactly the same and I have never seen anybody else write it down.

  • Good page mate but I have to disagree strongly about the ping-pong ball being third. A ball in a bath is the single greatest toy ever invented and everything else on that list is padding. Otherwise no complaints.

  • Deb this is your sister. The notebook by the kettle is not scientific evidence and you know it. The airing cupboard is number one because it is the only warm spot in that house. Love to Reg.

  • Congratulations on the award. Well deserved. I run a page for my two greyhounds and I know exactly how long the scanning takes, so I noticed the photographs.

  • Reggie looks exactly like a cat I had when I was nine, right down to the white toes on one foot only. I have been sitting here for a while. Thank you for putting this on the internet.

  • Your guestbook is broken. I am telling you rather than complaining. Try checking the file permissions on the cgi-bin directory, it is usually that.

  • The cucumber thing is real! Mine does it too and my husband refuses to believe it is a genuine phenomenon. I am printing this page out to show him.

  • I live three streets away and I think Reggie visits my back step in the afternoons. If it is him, he has been having a second lunch for about a year. Sorry.

To be added

Six more entries are waiting to be typed up, including two from people who found the page through the webring before it closed. If you wrote to me in September and have not appeared yet, you are in the pile and I have not forgotten you.
