Idris runs the course’s first-review sessions — the workshops where a student’s earliest generated takes get their first outside notes — and stays attached to whatever comes out of them for the rest of that week’s practical work. Before teaching, Idris worked as a script supervisor on independent shorts, which shows up here as a low tolerance for continuity that doesn’t hold from one generated take to the next.
Bring work in progress to a workshop rather than emailing it ahead; a note lands better against something you can both look at together.
