Week 12 Weekly Sync: Spam Law and Consent

Draft a one-page doctrine of what makes an email worth sending, then defend a real email against it.

10 May 2027

This is where the final assessment’s doctrine starts getting drafted.

Exercise: draft the doctrine (25 min)

State, in one page, what makes an email worth sending, drawing on every week of the semester rather than restating them individually.

Exercise: test it on one you’d stand by (15 min)

Take a real email you sent and were glad you sent. Check it against the doctrine drafted in the first exercise and confirm it actually passes; if it doesn’t, note why not.

Exercise: defend a doubtful one (20 min)

Take a real email you’re less sure about (yours, redacted if needed) and defend it against the doctrine, naming honestly where it falls short if it does.
