Week 11 Drop-in Session: Live Practicum

The supervised session where you perform one deliberate, exaggerated violation in front of your cohort and debrief it in real time.

5 October 2027

This is the session the whole course has been building toward: you perform, live and in front of your cohort, a deliberate and visibly exaggerated version of a violation drawn from any earlier week — an elevator standoff (with classmates playing the other riders), a seat-saving dispute (over a seat a classmate has agreed to contest), a queue cut (in a line made entirely of your cohort) — and the room reacts to it in real time. Everyone on the receiving end has agreed in advance to be part of the session; this is a performance for a consenting cohort, not a demonstration on the public the earlier weeks studied. Mr. Osei supervises the session and runs the debrief immediately afterward — it isn’t separately graded, but the habit of explaining exactly what you targeted and why is the same habit Assignment 2 and the Final Exam will expect from you.

Sign up for a ten-minute performance slot in advance through the session sheet posted before Week 9. Come with your technique chosen and rehearsed — this session is not the place to decide what you’re performing.
