Weaponised Etiquette studies the unwritten rules of public space by breaking them on purpose. Each week isolates one social contract — queues, elevators, coughs, seats — and catalogues how it is already being violated. Case studies, not confessions.
What you will do
Each week you pick one public space — an elevator, a library, a queue — and apply the same method to it: watch the unwritten rule as it actually operates, isolate the smallest deliberate act that would break it, and write down precisely what happens next. By Week 5 that method produces Assignment 1; by Week 9 it produces Assignment 2; by Week 11 you perform a technique live, under supervision; and Week 12's Final Exam tests how well the method itself has stuck, on cases you haven't seen before.
Who it is for
Anyone willing to treat "everyone knows not to do that" as a claim worth testing rather than a fact to take on faith. No prior sociology is assumed. You should be comfortable observing strangers respectfully in public and, in Week 11, performing an exaggerated (not harmful) breach of etiquette in front of your own cohort.
