Assessment

Three pieces of written work at 25, 25 and 50, all marked on the same four criteria.

Three pieces of work and nothing else: no quiz, no participation mark, no attendance component. Each is an account of decisions made inside a game state you did not choose, and each is due after the last week it rests on has been taught.

All three are marked on the same four criteria, weighted the same way — quality of reasoning under uncertainty 40, identification of the real trade-off 30, use of evidence 20, clarity of the account 10. The weighting is itself the argument: most of the mark is for the thinking, and none of it is for the result. A defended decision that lost the game is not penalised for losing.

Submission, late penalties, extensions, the use of generative tools and the rule about which patch you argue from are on the policies page.
