Graeber’s case for Bullshit Jobs links a single overpadded assignment to an economy full of manufactured, purposeless work; the closing lecture makes that link explicit before sending the course out to be an oral exam about itself. The format is week 1’s again — a performance under scrutiny — but the material underneath it is supposed to hold this time.
