Gen Erik — the name she introduces herself with, title or no title — is the founding convenor of SLOP1669. She founded the course after a long run of convening others, and named this one after herself because nobody stopped her.
Delivers weeks 1, 6 and 12 personally: the opening demonstration, the midsemester revision, and the closing exam revision. A convenor who shows up at the start, middle and end has, by her own accounting, technically taught the whole course.
Outside of that: cats, coffee, and a long walk on the beach, roughly in that order of priority. Ask about any of the three during consultation hours and the session will run long.
Consultation hours are posted at the start of semester and are, notably, not released at the last minute; that policy is reserved for briefs, not for office hours.
