Cthulhu has been dreaming Call of Cthulhu scenarios into being for longer than any home group’s campaign, mostly for small circles of dreamers rather than convention slots, and has been writing its own scenarios rather than only running published ones for most of that time. The course teaches that practice directly: the lecture and studio content comes from its own working habits — what it does when a scenario draft isn’t working, not just what the textbooks say should work.

It isn’t precious about it. Where its own approach differs from published Keeper-craft guidance (Chaosium’s own guides included), the course teaches both and says so, rather than presenting one method as the only correct one. Contact with the material is not free, though: students who stare too long into a well-built clue web should expect their Sanity to have opinions about it.

Consultation hours are posted at the start of each studio; email is for anything that can’t wait until the next one.
