Week 12 Practical: Final debrief and practical wrap-up
The closing practical — reviewing the semester's cases and frameworks together, in the week the Final Capstone is due.
10 May 2027
Before the practical#
The Final Capstone is due this week. Bring it finished.
In the practical#
A joint practical, run by both the convenor and the Field Safety Officer, reviewing the semester in the order it was built: the observation method from week 1, the classification scheme from week 2, the warding traditions from week 3, the two on-campus cases, the desk-study convergence, and the competing frameworks. It closes with a few capstone protocols presented back to the room as worked examples of the method applied end to end.
Afterwards#
The Final Capstone is due this week, closing the course. There is no further submission after this one.
The spec
What you bring to the session. Written so a reader can tell whether it has been met without asking you.
- you have submitted the Final Capstone — a containment/warding protocol for a novel case, grounded in the course's classification and countermeasure material
- you can trace your protocol's design back to at least one specific piece of material from phases 1–3 (a classification category, a warding-tradition mechanism, or a safety-protocol rule)
- you can state, without being asked to defend it, whether and how a position on the fourth-dimensional hypothesis shaped your protocol's design
