- Ask during the workshop first — most questions turn out to be about a control everyone in the room can see. Email when it genuinely cannot wait.
Idris runs the room the assessments actually happen in. Their standing question in a workshop review is “show me the two trials, not the description of the two trials” — a rule that catches more disagreements than it starts.
They came to teaching from accessibility consulting, which is most of why this course insists that every jump is playable by keyboard, why reduced motion turns off the cosmetic shake rather than the jump itself, and why nothing worth acting on is communicated by sound alone. If a control does not work without a mouse, Idris will find it in week 1, not week 11.
