How big is The Redesign allowed to be

Can I propose hiring another person, or does the change have to be something the site could do on Monday with no money?

Reading the brief for The Redesign and I cannot tell where the ceiling is.

The honest fix for my counter is a second person on Thursdays. That is not a queue design change, that is money.

The fix I can actually defend is moving where the line forms so people can see the counter, which costs a roll of tape.

Which one is the assignment asking for?

  1. Marked as the answer

Any size, and the size is not what is marked. What is marked is whether you can say who waits longer afterwards. Hire three people and the answer might be the people funding it. Move a sign and the answer might be nobody, in which case say that and show your working. A redesign that helps everybody has not been looked at hard enough.

  2. Mine is a sign. Just a sign. It moves about four minutes of perceived wait and costs nine dollars.

  3. Nine dollars and a named loser is a better answer than a staffing model with no losers in it.
