Wednesday’s session is on foot. We visit four queues, ten minutes of looking and ten minutes of arguing at each, and we finish at the bus interchange rather than back in the building.

Bring shoes you can walk forty minutes in, a notebook, and your five reasons not to pool written down. No stopwatch needed; this one is about looking.

Weather. We walk in anything short of a storm. If it is cancelled you will know by 09:00 on the day, here and by email.

If walking forty minutes is not workable for you, tell me before Tuesday and there is a seated version that uses the same four queues from a different angle. It is routine, it takes one email, and nobody else needs to know.

  1. Is the supermarket the one on the far side of the interchange or the small one by the library? Asking because of the walk back.

The large one past the interchange. It is the better case against pooling and the small one does not have enough tills to argue about. Forty minutes of walking in total, and we finish at the bus stop rather than back at the building.

  3. Can confirm from last year, wear something you can stand still in. The walking is fine, the ten minutes of standing still at each stop is what gets cold.
