What does defending the redesign actually involve

Week 12 says you defend the change in front of the room. How long, what do I bring, and what are people allowed to ask?

Trying to work out how much to prepare for week 12.

The brief says you defend the change in front of the room and if you can defend it you have understood the course. That is a sentence about the point, not about the format.

How long am I talking for, and is the room the whole cohort or just my session?

  1. Marked as the answer

Six minutes standing up, then six minutes of questions from the room. Bring one page. The room will ask who waits longer under your change, and it will ask it whatever else you have prepared for, so have a name and a number ready rather than a principle.

  2. Is the one page marked?

  3. No. It is there so you are not reading off a screen while somebody asks you a question.
