Ida does not teach a period and does not hold a callsign, and she is the single most consequential person in this course. The aircraft is hers. You sign it out from her before a sortie and you sign it back in afterwards, and between those two signatures you are borrowing it.

She briefs the walkaround in week 1 and is present at every sortie from week 10. If she declares an aircraft unserviceable, it does not fly, and there is no appeal above her.
