Discussion Lab
Crossing 6 has no fieldwork of its own — come in and talk through your five Crossings with peers before Legacy asks you to account for them alone
No hallway work this fortnight — Legacy is built entirely out of the five Crossings that already happened. Before that account goes in front of a mark, it goes in front of your peers, while there’s still time to hear what doesn’t land.
In the room#
No stage, no clock, no five-clip run-through — just small groups talking through what each of you actually lived across the semester. Bring the account you’re planning for the Finale — Legacy is what it has to cover and what it’s judged on — and let people ask into it: what happened, what you’d do differently, which Crossing you’re quietly less sure about than the others.
What you leave with#
Not a mark — a peer’s reaction. Something a stranger to your semester noticed that you didn’t say out loud until they asked: a Crossing that needs a harder look, a claim your own account doesn’t quite back up, an account that’s gentler on yourself than your peers believed once you talked it through. Carry that into The Hallway Finale.
The spec
What you bring to the session. Written so a reader can tell whether it has been met without asking you.
- you talk through your five Crossings with at least one peer, not just read your account out loud at them
- you name, out loud, which of the five Crossings you're least sure landed
- you leave with a peer's honest reaction to your account, not just your own read of it
