About this redesign
This is a rebuild of 7-zip.org, the real site for the real project — done as a studio exercise, not something the 7-Zip team asked for.
I like 7-Zip because it's exactly what it says it is: a free, genuinely excellent archiver with no dark patterns and no upsell. What its current site gets wrong is presentation, not substance — the download links sit in a small table with no visual priority, the feature list is one long unbroken paragraph, and every release since 2010 is stacked on a single page. None of that is a content problem; it's an information-hierarchy problem. This version keeps every real fact and gives the one thing most visitors came for, the download, an actual visual priority.
