Ongoing: gigs & workshops
You Are Here runs a winter programme at its Civic venue: an alcohol-free, all-ages gig series, plus workshops open to all skill levels. Individual dates aren't published far in advance, so the live site is the source of truth for what's actually on.
Recently: Show n Tell past event
Show n Tell was an open house held . It has already happened and isn't bookable — it's kept here only as an example of the kind of programming You Are Here runs. Check the link above for what's currently scheduled.
Visiting: what to know
- Where: Level 1, 131 City Walk, above King O'Malley's, near the city bus interchange.
- Age: All ages — under-16s should come with an adult. (Separate 18+ licensed gigs on Level 2 are run by a different tenant.)
- Cost: Varies by event — check Humanitix for each listing, and get in touch if cost would stop you coming.
- Accessibility: A lift provides access to Level 1, and there's one accessible bathroom. The lift is small — most wheelchair users won't be able to turn around inside it. Flooring, lighting, and noise vary throughout the building. A small access-resources budget is available on request — email producers@youareherecanberra.com.au.
