M16 Artspace
Studio space, galleries and a community backing Canberra artists at every stage — from a first show to a lifelong practice.
Since 1985, M16 Artspace has given Canberra artists — first-timers and seasoned professionals alike — somewhere to make and show work outside the commercial gallery circuit. From its home in Griffith's former library building, it now runs three galleries, dozens of working studios, and hosts several affiliated arts groups running classes for the wider community.
Current Exhibition
UNruly is one of four shows currently on rotation across M16's three galleries, running 31 July – 23 August.
Opening Hours
The gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday, 12pm–5pm.
