Development pointscores

A series pointscore is run alongside each Summer and Winter Development Series, generally over four meets (Summer 2022–23 had five). The first time an event is swum in a Series a swimmer earns 2 points; from the second swim onward, points are awarded against the swimmer's previous Series-best time in that event.

2 pointsfor each first swim of a stroke and distance in the Series

Series assessment

At the end of each Series, swimmers are assessed as Development or Intermediate level from their current best time (long course for summer, short course for winter) as at the last Series meet.
