Swimming ACT runs the local competitive calendar and backs thirteen clubs across Canberra, Queanbeyan, Goulburn, Braidwood and Crookwell. Whichever pool is closest, there's a club ready to have you.

The ACT Short Course Championships will be held on the 8–9 August at the AIS. The meet flyer and Swim Central entry links (there are separate links for Saturday and Sunday) can be found on the Meet Calendar page. Visiting officials are most welcome. Nominations will be open shortly for each day of the meet.
Important information for Technical Officials
From the 2026 Winter Season, all TO nominations for Swimming ACT events will now take place via Swim Central. To be eligible to nominate you need your WWCC uploaded and verified on Swim Central. About this rebuild
This is a COMP4020 studio exercise, not an official Swimming ACT site. It rebuilds the real swimmingact.com.au using its real content, restructured for clarity.
- Split one long, scroll-forever homepage into focused, single-topic pages, so "when's the next meet" doesn't require reading past a wall of announcements first.
- Turned the club directory's unreadable wide table — the one that forces horizontal scrolling on a phone — into cards that reflow at any width.
- Merged office hours, address and contact email, which the original split across the About and Contact pages, onto one page.
- Grouped the meet calendar by month with a clear date/name/venue layout, instead of one dense table with merged header rows.
