Gear store
Members can hire climbing, hiking and mountaineering gear at rates well below retail hire shops. No booking needed — just come by during opening hours with your membership card.

- ANU Sport building (David Cocking Sport and Recreation Centre) — through the far sports hall, up the stairs, in Storeroom 4. Ask at the climbing wall if you can't find it. Not wheelchair accessible.

- Trip weekends
- Gear for a booked trip can be collected the Friday before, by arrangement with the trip leader.

Non-members can hire gear once, for a first trip, at the non-member rate — after that, join up.

Hiking
Packs from 35L–70L, sleeping bags and mats, trekking poles.
Mountaineering
Ice axes, crampons, 4-season tents, avalanche transceivers.
Stock is limited and first-come, first-served — for a trip that needs specific gear, ask the trip leader ahead of time rather than relying on the store having it that week.
