WELCOME TO MY LITTLE BOARD-GAME WORLD
About the SysOp
I run this board under the handle HEXBARON — a BBS affectation, not my real name. Everything else on this page is genuine. My older brother is the reason I'm in this hobby at all: he's a serious collector with a large collection of his own, and he's the one who introduced me to board games in the first place.
He's also most of the reason I lean German-style over American-style. That's not a dislike of interaction — Modern Art is proof of that, since it runs almost entirely on reading the other players — it's more that I'm drawn to planning, economies and scoring systems ahead of combat and elimination. I mostly play with family, which probably reinforces the same preference too: games that stay engaging without knocking anyone out of contention early tend to be the ones that stick around this table.
The Game Room lists what's actually getting played at the moment. This page is just the person keeping the board running.
