Ask during sessions, or email when a question cannot wait until the next one.

Idris runs every session from week 2 onward — the workshop half of the course, where the Hate Catalogue turns into an actual bad interface and then into evidence. Background is in human factors research, mostly usability testing for clients who did not enjoy hearing the results; that’s the instinct they bring to Human Guinea Pigs in week 9, where “does it actually work” replaces “does it feel annoying” as the standard.

Ask during sessions first — most workshop questions are faster resolved live, in front of the thing you’re building. Email is for anything time-sensitive between sessions: an extension, a materials question, or a Worst Interface idea you want a sanity check on before you commit a week to it.
