Tutor, and the author of upload-ui — including the two-state boolean in
week 2 that students spend the afternoon
dismantling, and the seven unsourced claims planted in the
week 10 checkpoint.
He maintains the transfer traces the estimator exercises run against, and is firm that they are recorded sample data rather than live captures: the point of the course is reproducibility, and an exercise you cannot run twice is not an exercise.
His standing request in the studio: bring the thing that is broken rather than a description of it. Most of what looks like a conceptual problem in this subject turns out, at the machine, to be a state that was never named.
