Week 2 Session: First review

The second session, where the match you picked in Week 1 gets a second pair of eyes before you commit to analysing it for real.

1 March 2027

Before the session

Bring the match and the written answer from Week 1. Reread your own answer and find the one claim in it you’d have the hardest time defending if someone asked “how do you know?”

In the session

Short demos: describe your match’s state at one moment — gold, level, wave, whatever’s relevant — in under two minutes, then name the claim you’re least sure about. Feedback is aimed at that claim, not at polishing the summary around it. This is a rehearsal for the standard the assessments hold you to from here on: a claim that names a specific, checkable moment beats a confident generalisation, and neither is stronger for citing your rank instead of the game state.

Afterwards

Not assessed. What should change afterward is which moments in your match you’d reach for as evidence — that’s the skill Solo Queue Autopsy marks directly, due in Week 4.

The spec

What you bring to the session. Written so a reader can tell whether it has been met without asking you.
