Every piece of graded work in the course, what it is worth, and when it is due.
Three bake-offs, and every one is judged the same way: bread baked at home (or wherever you can get an oven) and carried in whole and uncut, then cut open on the bench in front of Marisol or Idris while you answer questions about the crumb. The first covers weeks 1 to 4, the second weeks 5 to 8, and the third is a bread of your own design covering the whole semester, proposed at Bake 11 and baked after teaching ends.

Bake-Off 3: The Showpiece
