Every piece of graded work in the course, what it is worth, and when it is due.

The four assessments move in one direction: noticing a pattern, then taking one apart, then building a system that produces them, then judging a system you didn’t build. Each one is worth more than the last, because each one asks you to trust your own judgement a little further out from the safety of someone else’s example.
