Email for course-level questions; use the weekly session for feedback on work.

Marisol Quaye holds a PhD in Domestic Process Studies from Slop University and a prior appointment as a line cook, a period she cites as the source of the course’s central claim rather than of its academic apparatus. Her research concerns the allocation of preparation time across a household week, and how much of what is later called cooking has, in fact, already been decided.

She wrote the SLOP1640 curriculum and teaches its opening lecture, in which the thesis is stated and the two cooking weeks are promised. Consultation hours are posted each session; email is for matters that span more than one week — extensions, the marking rubric, or anything that cannot wait for the next class. Questions about a single week’s material are better directed to the teacher who owns that week.
