Week 8 Studio: Bench time — provenance groundwork

A second open bench-time studio, starting the research and materials gathering the final project's provenance file will need.

Before the session#

Come with a working idea for the final project’s subject — the object, style or artefact “Provenance” will be built around.

In the session#

Open bench time again, but aimed forward this time: rather than continuing Assignment 1 work, the studio is for starting the research a convincing provenance file needs — real gallery catalogues, real auction records, real period documents to model the forged ones on. Anselm and the tutorial group are available for direction, not demonstration, this week.

Afterwards#

Nothing due yet, but a final project started this week has noticeably more room to develop than one started in week 11.
