Week 6 Studio: Assignment 1 work time

The last studio before Assignment 1 is due — bench time and a final materials-and-method note check before submission.

Before the session#

Bring the assignment itself, whatever state it’s in, and a draft of the materials-and-method note the assessment page requires.

In the session#

Dedicated bench time, plus a short one-on-one check of each person’s materials-and-method note — the piece of the submission that does the declaring the policies page describes. A note that doesn’t say what technique it copied or what it was made with is the one thing that turns finished work into an ungradable one, so this is the week that gets caught before submission rather than after.
